To add and change space zone information

Select the
(
Create Space
) to create a space.
In the Create Space dialog, scroll and navigate to Property Name IfcZone Names and set one or more (comma delimited) zone names and Value list box.
Place the space.

Now to change the
IfcZone Names property on the newly placed
space:
Select the space and click
(Modify Properties
), that opens the
Edit Space dialog.
- In the Edit Space dialog, scroll down to the IfcZone Names property and change the zone name to another space type. In this example we change the IFC_Classroom zone name to IFC_General. Remember to apply the changes to the selected space in the view. You may also want to change the Label property to reflect the same space type as the IfcZone name.
